Making money online has never been easier…

In the beginning on the Internet, many people and companies made money – though the options to do so were limited.  Having a product and a website through which to sell it were the minimum requirements.  It was usually just an extension of or a replacement for a physical store or place of business.

You can still utilize the Internet that way, and make a lot of money doing it.  But, what if you don’t already have a business?  What if you don’t already have a product or service to sell?  What can the Internet do for you?

If you can imagine it, you can likely make money doing it online…

First you just have to figure out what “IT” is.  If you have no products or services, why not create a place for others to sell theirs?  You could stock an inventory of products and allow consumers to purchase them through your site.  You could also host an online store where the products ship from their producers directly (called drop-shipping).

You could use the Internet to connect people, whether it is producers with consumers, employers with employees, potential soul mates, families with babysitters, and the list goes on.  You can facilitate connections between people.

Why not create an online hub for information, selling advertising space?  You could blog and with the right readership and score some big advertisers.  Each visitor to your site gives you that much more creditability with potential advertisers.

You could create content for others websites, both substantive and marketing-related.  Online marketing is an entire industry unto itself.  Write copy for advertisements, create How-To’s or best practices for marketing web-based businesses, or develop templates from which businesses can work to create their own marketing.

Figure out what “IT” is.  Do it well.  Find the right people or plan to help you maximize your impact on the niche it fills.  You can make money online…
