Entrepreneurship Forum: Bringing Together Entrepreneurial Resources To Encourage Economic Growth

Entrepreneurship can help stimulate and grow economies as businesses employ people and provide financial resources to the community and beyond.  Given entrepreneurship's potential to support economic growth, it is the policy goal of many governments to develop a culture of entrepreneurial thinking.

An entrepreneurship forum is a way to share information with the purpose of supporting economic growth.  Attendees can engage with others to learn about, discuss, and propose prospective strategies.

An online forum, Young Entrepreneur Forums, was established as a space where younger generations of entrepreneurs share and talk about entrepreneurship, learn and help others start up business ventures.

For the past fifteen years, The Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, University of California, Berkeley, has sponsored a “Berkeley Entrepreneurs Forum” to stimulate new enterprise, encourage innovation, and teach entrepreneurship.

In November 2008, The World Entrepreneurship Forum (also referred to as the Think-Tank for Entrepreneurship) took place in France, presenting strategies for supporting entrepreneur opportunities world-wide.  The highlight of the conference was the focus on promoting entrepreneurship that aims to achieve sustainable economic growth.

The meetings, conferences, and online forums cover a broad range of participation.  From the local level to world-wide, educational to political, young to old, all have the same basic mission: entrepreneurial education and support is the answer to expanding economies in a positive direction for a positive effect on the population.
