Flexibility Vital to Your Small Business Strategy

Having a business plan in place is a great way to set your small business on path to success.

Two important components of your small business strategy should be constant and continual evaluation of your progress related to your business plan, and the flexibility to make any necessary changes or modifications to hold you to your main business objectives.

Describing his company’s business strategy plan, Joel Block, president of Growth-Logic, Inc., says, “We refer to this material frequently. We debrief and make changes as necessary. Our business plan is a living document that we work with on a constant basis.”

Sometimes circumstances change, or results aren’t what you expected, and modifications may be necessary.
Remember the reason you got into business in the first place; what your ultimate business goals are, and do what you need to do to keep your small business on track.
