Nouveaux Riches: Does it Matter Where Your Money Came From?

Historically, nouveaux riches were people often viewed as “lacking the experience or finesse to use wealth in the same manner as people from families who had been wealthy for multiple generations.”

However, the term nouveaux riches is simply French for “new rich”, or defined as a person newly rich.

Whether or not your upbringing was privileged does not determine your ultimate success in life.  While it can influence in one way or another, what really matters is the vision you have for your life… and the determination you have to get there.

In fact, with the troubled financial climate we are experiencing today, it doesn’t seem to matter so much whether you come from “old money” or you are newly rich, but whether you can stay rich.
