Financial Success is A Choice
Wealth Magazine recently conducted an interview with author, television personality and motivational speaker, Larry Winget.
Winget was questioned about the current state of the economy, joblessness and achieving personal financial goals. His answers were blunt but honest.
One point in particular offers a lot of value. Winget was asked about the thousands of Americans who are out of work right now and if he thought there was hope at the end of the tunnel. You’ll see his answer conjures up a great deal of personal responsibility and motivation.
Winget stated, “Hope is a dumb idea. Hope is not a strategy for success. It’s certainly not a wealth strategy. What do you do? It’s up to you.”
As comforting as it may be to sit around, peruse the classifieds or hope for a promotion at your current job, it’s not proactive. Taking responsibility for your future will require aggressive acts of self-promotion.
Financial success is not an easy undertaking; it requires hard work and hard work is most definitely the high road.
