An Entrepreneur Will Stand Out In the Crowd
Depending on who you ask, you’ll get a variety of answers to the question, “What makes for a successful entrepreneur?”
You’ll likely get a lot of right answers and some questionable ones as well. There are some absolutes that never change.
- Entrepreneurs are non-conformists. They don’t accept the standard information that everyone else does. If someone tells them it can’t be done, they’re not happy with that and will try to disprove them.
- Entrepreneurs are motivated by achievement. Bill K. Bolton, author of Entrepreneurs, noted this characteristic which is present in some entrepreneurs even in childhood.
- Entrepreneurs have a preference for innovation. A true entrepreneur has a desire to accomplish something new or bring it about in a whole new way.
- Entrepreneurs have the ability to tolerate an unknown outcome. Entrepreneurs are risk-takers who can withstand an uncertain future.
Being an entrepreneur requires courage and stamina. If you’re willing to take the risk, the outcome can be life-changing.
