Delegate For Wealth Creation

At some point, for wealth creation, you will have to outsource some things.  If you consider your time valuable, you will choose to pay someone else to do the tasks that you can’t do or don’t need to do.

Lesley Spencer Pyle recently published an article on Entrepreneur.com that laid out some guidelines for how to find someone and what to look for.

1.     Decide what you need. Be specific about what you are looking for.  Just stating you need someone to do accounting work for you offers no detail.  If you need your books cleaned up from the past year, give that information up front.

2.    Find the right source. There are hundreds of sites where you can look for an independent contractor or freelancer.  A few Pyle recommends are eLance, oDesk and Hire My Mom.

3.    Confirm a match. Just picking someone based upon their fees should not be the only criteria for hiring them.  Get references and check their experience as well.

Being financially successful isn’t about doing it all yourself.  Because your time and expertise are valuable, you should focus on what you do best.
