Your Company Business Strategy Can Help You Reach Your Goals

According to Ryan P. Allis CEO of Broadwick Corp., there are 4 steps involved in accomplishing any goal and these can apply to starting a business and developing a company business strategy.

1.    Write Down Goals.  Writing and revisiting tangible goals will remind you of why you are doing what you’re doing and help you measure your success along the way.  The small business counselors at SCORE agree this step is vital.

2.    Create Vision and Strategy.  Some of the most accomplished businesses may look ordinary on the outside but because they have a vision for their business and have some strategy (if even loose) they are able to pursue those goals with an overlying passion for success.

3.    Implement Actions.  Each business has different steps it must take to set success in motion.

4.    Measure Results and Obtain Feedback.  Unless you are following up on how your action plan is working and what customers and potential customers think and then making changes as needed, you can’t improve your services.   Nothing gets better without wanting and implementing changes.

These steps are not all inclusive especially since each industry may require more effort in one area than another.  Each business is unique and depending on your strategy for your particular company and how rapidly it is changing you may have to revisit some of these steps more frequently.
