How Direct Marketing Campaigns Are Transforming

It’s undeniable that direct marketing campaigns are expanding to include a multitude of media options.  Direct marketing has evolved over the past 10 years to include the Internet and everything the web has to offer.

Even with the existing forms of direct marketing, there have been major advances.

According to Lahle Wolfe from IPump - three types of direct marketing campaigns that are relatively simple to implement are:

1.     Telemarketing - Phone calls are a fast and very personal way of reaching out to current or potential clients.  Some businesses choose to use automated phone messages to relay information to their customers, but this can make something that should be personal and direct just the opposite.  Tread cautiously.

2.    E-mail Direct Marketing - E-mail is remarkably fast and allows you to reach out to customers directly with a personal invitation while providing useful information.

3.    Direct Mail Marketing - This can be as simple as it sounds, but Jonathan Kranz from Marketing Profs has noted some changes over the past few years regarding what direct mail has become.  Direct mail used to be limited to letters, but is now supplemented with reports, white papers or articles.

Whatever methods of marketing you choose to use, capitalize your time and effort by using direct marketing to reach customers.
