Prosperity Partnership: Work And Play

At first glance, a prosperity partnership may all sound great, and you expect to make lots of money working with somebody you get along great with.

But just like any relationship a business partnership will require some negotiation, sacrifice and crystal clear communication.

Marian Banker from Prime Strategies published some tips for a successful business partnership.

1.    Create a Shared Vision and Mission. Although we all possess a variety of skills and talents that make us unique and within those skills we all learn differently, having a shared vision for your business is a must.

2.    Address Needs and Expectations. Knowing what your business partner needs to function optimally and what he/she expects from the business and from you should all be laid out from the get go.

3.    Define Job Roles for Each Partner Including Accountability. Defining roles for job duties will make for an agreeable business relationship.   As long as responsibilities are divvyed up equally and all parties are in agreement, then everyone can be held accountable for each duty that may need more attention.

A partnership is a great way to multiply the joys of working a business together and dividing the responsibilities.  Getting off on the right foot is the best way to start.
