Financial Success Stories: Two-Fold Accomplishments

Financial success stories are often very impressive… When we read about someone who started from nothing and built a business and a name for themselves, we can’t help but be impressed.

Recently, MsMoney told the story about author and partner of Harris Brand Recruiting, Eileen Michaels. She started out in the healthcare field back in the 1960’s.  After two children and 10 years of marriage ending in divorce, Michaels was forced to support herself and found that being a nurse just wasn’t providing enough financial security.

Eventually Michaels pursued an education in business.  Combining her new education with her medical knowledge (diagnosing problems and prescribing a solution) she was able to offer others some financial direction and move them along the path to good financial health.

This truly is a financial success story for two reasons.  First, Michaels found a solution to her own financial problems and became a tremendous success during a time when many women were constrained by society’s rules and expectations.

Second, Michaels is now providing a financial support system to help others become financially secure.

Making good financial decisions for yourself is an accomplishment and helping others to do the same is just as commendable and quite worthy to be called a financial success story.
